My name is Racquel. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018 with a bachelor’s in Public Health: concentration of health behavior change in fitness and nutrition. I since then have completed five + years of research studying obesity epidemic amongst children, adolescents, and young adults in underserved communities of Chicago.  Outside of my degree, I hold a 5 year certification in Personal Training & Group Fitness, 3 year certification in Nutrition, 2 year certification in Behavior Change, and a 1 year certification in Performance Enhancement, Functional Range Conditions (Mobility Coaching), and Corrective Exercise. I am also currently continuing my education as a Life Coach.

Although MuveWeight works with injured populations and working professionals, I am dedicated toward making health & wellness accessible and feasible to the underserved and underfunded communities throughout Chicago’s Southside. I believe everyone should have access to the knowledge and resources to adopt a healthier lifestyle, thus, I am devoted to promoting overall wellness and quality life through volunteer work, monthly free training giveaways, and our annual 25 Days of Free Training each Christmas.

My goal is to get everyone muving and Keep them MUVing as frequently as possible to help people feel and muve comfortably and confidently within their own bodies.
